We're moving to a new venue from April - Rodway Hall (scout hut), in Redland Road, Malvern Link. We'll be there every Friday.
Our community lunches and our hub at the Octagon will both move to this single venue, every Friday, which means a lot less moving things around for our very busy volunteers!
As usual, all is free - donations are welcome if you can afford it but are not required - and everyone is welcome!
Our first event in the new space will be our Food for Change community lunch on Friday April 12th, followed by our Community Hub on Friday April 19th. We'll be there every Friday with some free food, friendly faces and space to talk about the climate crisis, loss of nature, cost of living, how we deal with all of that, or anything else you feel like talking about!
The community lunches, delicious and creative 3-course meals using "waste" food, will be held on the same pattern as before, the 2nd and 4th Fridays in each month.
The community hub will move from Mondays to Fridays when there's no big lunch- so the 1st and 3rd Fridays in every month (and the 5th Friday when there is one). The hub will have surplus clothes, plants & veg and sewing repairs/ lessons, local information about anything related to the climate crisis / food waste / skill sharing, and a light lunch (usually soup and bread). We also hope to be doing a bit of simple gardening on site, e.g. growing herbs and edible flowers.
